Hypnotherapy Supporting Chemotherapy and Emetophobia

The day will be a mixture of theory and practice and will be light hearted in tone – thought not flippant! Here are some highlights of what you will learn on this full day workshop:

  • The role of hypnotherapy in anticipatory nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy.
  • A fast initial consultation using appropriate analogies.
  • How to scale back a panic attack and associated retching and vomiting.
  • Free flow guided imagery for the very sick and dying.
  • Progressive muscle relaxation using guided imagery.
  • How to introduce Sparking Moments to a very sick person.
  • SF Hypnotherapy in palliative care.
  • Needle phobias, how to recognise them and which SFH techniques to use.

The Old Rectory Clinic is conveniently located for Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester, Bath and the surrounding area. Good transport links for the M32, M4 and M5 motorways and a 10 minute taxi from Bristol Parkway Station. Free parking. Starting at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm.

The cost of the event is £65 and includes the following:
