For more than 60 years we have worked with the disease model in mental health, and then looking at drugs to ‘correct’ the illness. Now we have scientists including Professor Martin Seligman, Daniel Gilbert, Nancy Etcoff looking at Positive Psychology.

This course explores the science of what makes life worth living and how to strengthen our emotional resilience. What is ‘happiness’? The difference between synthesised happiness and natural happiness.
