What is Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural and pleasant state of mind and body which we all enter from time to time. If you have ever lost yourself in a good book or film, or realised you can't remember driving the last mile home, then you have probably been in a hypnotic state!

During hypnosis the body and the conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state. Whilst in this state the subconscious mind can be very receptive to beneficial suggestions and will accept directions which can promote positive change. No one can make you go into a trance against your will. You will always be aware of what is happening around you and you will always be in control.

What is Hypnotherapy

Within the subconscious mind lies our emotions, memories, our automatic body responses, habit patterns and our most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us.
